Dr. David Klapper completed his undergraduate degree from Yeshiva University in 1988 with a major in computer science. He earned his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1994. He completed his internship in internal medicine at the Brooklyn Hospital Center and completed a residency in neurology at Boston University Medical Center. He then completed a fellowship in medical informatics at Brigham and Women’s Hospital as well as a masters in medical informatics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology sponsored by the National Institutes of Health. His thesis involved wearable medical computers and machine learning. He went on for fellowships in neuromuscular disorders and in sleep medicine at the University of Miami. He is board certified in neurology and in sleep medicine.
